Boasting a trendy shape and extensive personalisation options, the new model is perfect for those looking for a little something extra in their city car.
Citroen’s charismatic front grille, trademark Airbump technology, light signature and floating roof design mark it out from other vehicles in its class, and provide excellent visibility and safety against small bumps.
Five doors, cleverly designed storage compartments and a 300-litre boot capacity mean the car is extremely practical. However, thanks to its compact size – the C3 measures under 4m in length – it can easily be manoeuvred and parked around busy cities.

The smart choice for those on a budget: C3 Puretech 68 Touch
This base model in the C3 range is powered by a three-cylinder PureTech 68 petrol engine. Putting out 67bhp via a five-speed manual gearbox, it may not be the most powerful in its class, but it can still reach a top speed of 107mph. It offers a combined mpg of 60.1, producing CO2 emissions of 108g/km.
The Touch trim that features on this model may be Citroen’s cheapest offering, but it looks funky nonetheless, with an almond green paint job coming as standard, along with a body-coloured roof.
The brand’s trademark Airbump technology – first seen on the C4 Cactus – does not feature on the model, nor is there the option to add it. Therefore, if the safety bumps are a priority to you, you will have to go for the highest Flair trim, which is not available on this powertrain.
Weighing in at £10,995 on the road, the C3 PureTech 68 in Touch trim is not only stylish, but affordable too!
The smart choice for value for money: C3 PureTech 110 S&S Feel
Drivers looking for value for money should opt for the C3 PureTech 110 in Feel trim. Not only is it the most potent powertrain on offer, but the Feel trim offers a host of extra benefits over the Touch, while costing more than £1,000 less than the top-level Flair trim.
The petrol powertrain puts out 108bhp via a 5-speed manual gearbox, which allows the car to accelerate all the way to 117mph, which is more than enough for the city streets it’s designed for. Meanwhile, Stop&Start technology and a combined mpg of 61.4 and CO2 emissions of 103g/km make it an economical choice.
The middle Feel trim again comes with an almond green paint as standard, and no Airbumps. However, a black, red or white roof can be specified at no added cost. Sixteen-inch alloy wheels also feature, as does a space saver spare wheel.
Further options are also available at this trim level, which allows for more personalisation.
On the road, the C3 PureTech 110 S&S Manual in Feel trim will set you back £14,945.
The smart choice for technophiles: C3 BlueHDi 100 S&S Flair
Those wanting the most technologically advanced C3 should choose the BlueHDi 100 S&S Manual in the top Flair trim.
The four-cylinder turbo diesel powertrain boasts a top speed of 115mph, and the impressive economy figures of 76.3mpg, while producing only 95g/km of CO2.
The Flair trim again comes in almond green as standard. Coupled with the brand’s Airbump technology, various roof colour options and 16-inch alloy wheels, this trim level promises the highest-specced C3 available.
Opting for Citroen’s Connect Nav system – a must for all technophiles – adds a further £500 to the model’s on-the-road price of £17,095.
