Motors.co.uk was launched in 2007 by the Daily Mail and General Trust, and acquired by Manheim Europe in March 2012.
About Motors.co.uk
Motors.co.uk is the UK’s second biggest used car classified advertising site and search portal, and is the place to find or sell a car.Motors.co.uk aims to make the process of finding the right car as easy as possible for used car buyers, and the selling of used cars as straightforward and cost-effective as possible for used car dealers or private sellers.
Motors.co.uk is the only website which lets private sellers advertise their car for free, and the only one to allow users to search multiple make-and-model criteria at the same time. Motors.co.uk has partnerships with 11 regional newspaper groups, placing local adverts in the printed press as well as online. We also power the used car search functionality of many websites such as Parkers.co.uk, HonestJohn and Desperate Seller

- Graduate Sales Executive

Key tasks and responsibilities:
- To identify new business/sales opportunities and present them with the appropriate key features and benefits of the portfolio to secure new/additional business. Any objections must be overcome in a positive and professional manner, using appropriate product knowledge.
- To pro-actively and regularly provide clients with relevant information and ideas, and also in response to enquiries about products and services.
- To provide an excellent customer experience by maintaining a high level of service at all times. When necessary, to handle customer complaints efficiently and effectively, keeping the number of escalated calls to a minimum.
- To input and maintain customer records with accurate, high quality. information in order to enable effective forward-planning, maximise the success of all marketing initiatives and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of customer activity. All client conversations and transactions must be clearly documented.
- To recognise the importance and benefits of effective team working, assisting colleagues and providing cover as and when required. This also includes respecting and motivating your colleagues in other departments who are responsible for servicing and supporting your activity – plus maintaining effective communication links with other teams/departments across the business.
- To attend, prepare for and participate in one-to-one and team meetings that will review/guide performance (including appraisals), share/progress ideas and initiatives, communicate objectives and agree sales plans/focus.
- To attend internal/external training sessions as and when appropriate to increase skill set. Plus be responsible for continually updating your product, market and competitor knowledge.
- Temporary Graphic Designer
We are now recruiting for an experienced Digital Graphic Designer whose main duties will include web & digital design, branding and content management. The successful candidate will be a self-starting problem solver looking to join a talented group of digital experts. You should also have a strong portfolio that demonstrates applied techniques and expertise in developing exceptional web sites and applications.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Involvement in the full lifecycle of projects, from inception to fulfilment
- Responsibility for e-commerce, content managed web/mobile sites and iPhone/iPad apps projects, flash banners and illustrated graphics
- Dreamweaver
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- HMTL
The successful candidate will have a strong interest in latest trends in design and a willingness to improve. As a role that is occasionally client facing, the individual will have strong communication and presentation skills.
