Audi TT Coupe

The Audi TT coupe is one of the best two door sports cars currently available. It has set the benchmark for a number of years and continues to be the gold standard with which most others try to compete. For those people looking for maximal excitement on a relatively small scale, there’s just nothing better to consider than the TT.

It burst onto the motoring scene in 1998 and has been a mainstay in Audi’s line up ever since. Several generations have been available, with the most modern being substantially more aggressive and sporty than the originals. While the coupe is arguably the most popular model, the TT is also available as a cabriolet/roadster. Showcasing Audi’s talent for engineering and design, this car is just the business.

Indeed the latest variants are sleeker and more imposing to look at than the ‘happy go lucky’ first generation, and that’s a good thing. Some nice sharp angles are combined with sultry curves and a good amount of bling to produce something that even an artist would be proud of. The interior is rather sporty too, and has quite a futuristic look to it. A load of high quality materials are on show, and the various trim levels are all fully loaded with equipment. Comfortable, spacious and actually quite practical with its generous boot, the TT is the definition of excellent.

The overall design is a hard act to follow, but in terms of driving experience the TT doesn’t disappoint either. It’s incredibly nimble and precise on the road thanks to the Quattro 4 wheel drive system, and there’s a huge amount of grip on offer. Agility in the corners certainly isn’t in short supply and you really can throw the car into bends with confidence. With an almost never ending list of engines to choose from, the Audi can be as manic or calm as you like. The 3.2 litre V6 and 2.0 litre TFSI are particularly noteworthy; there’s even a diesel to consider. Get the S-Line if you’re really looking for performance though. Ultimately whatever you choose, the noise the motion and the grip will overwhelm your senses with sheer delight.

Whether you’re after a pure sports machine or something a little more restrained, you can find any type of TT for much less of the cost at Motors.co.uk. With over 150,000 different second hand cars for sale, getting your hands on the right one is actually very easy. Paying less for a used Audi TT coupe is by far the best way to enjoy this incredible car without worrying about damage to your bank account.

If anything is clear it’s that the Audi TT is one amazing car. While it might look like a mega fast lunatic sports car, below the surface it’s actually rather versatile. Yes there are pure performance versions with big engines, but you can also get ones that are more reserved and ideal for cruising around. There’s also the option of a coupe or cabriolet. Whatever you’re looking for in a small 2 door sports car, you’ll have no trouble finding it in the TT. It’s immense.
