Used Fiat Punto

The Fiat Punto is a popular Supermini which provides an inexpensive solution to enjoyable motoring. It is a great little car for getting around town and it is economical to run.

The Fiat Punto was manufactured between 1994 and 2006. The car has not held its value very well and as a consequence used Fiat Punto cars tend to be very inexpensive to buy and are very good value for money.

In 2006 the Fiat Punto was replaced by the Grande Punto which was manufactured until 2010 and which has a different chassis and body shell plus a new range of engines. It has much sportier lines then the Punto and has brought the marque right up to date.

Following on from the Grande Punto, in 2010 Fiat launched the Punto Evo which has a very similar appearance to the Grande but with a new engine line-up and a fuel economy of up to 69 mpg.

Although the Fiat Punto and its descendents all have a good record for reliability, economy and performance they tend to depreciate very quickly and even almost new models can be found at a fraction of the price of the new car.

The Fiat Punto is a very popular choice as a car to get around town and its price makes it very attractive to younger drivers on a budget. You will find large number of them for sale across the UK from approved Fiat dealers, independent traders and private sellers. No matter where you are in the UK, Motors.co.uk could find a deal on a used BMW Z4 near you.

The sportiest Fiat Punto is the Evo model with the 1.4 litre multi-air engine. This is equipped with a turbocharger and will develop 135 bhp and the car will accelerate from 0 to 62 mpg in 8.5 seconds. That does not make it the sportiest Supermini on the road, but it is still very respectable especially when you consider that it will return a fuel economy of 55 mpg.
