Used MINI

The MINI is one of the best looking small cars available on the road today, being fantastic to drive and offering plenty of street credibility, thanks to its chic look and retro styling.

BMW launched the new look MINI in 2001 and, after considering many possible designs, they paid homage to the true spirit of the original MINI. Over the next few years, a number of models were released which included four hatchbacks with both petrol and diesel engine versions.

MINI customers had the choice of the MINI One or the sportier MINI Cooper, both available with petrol or diesel engines, the supercharged MINI Cooper S and a soft-top MINI, which has a fully automatic canvas roof.

The Mk II MINI was launched in 2007 and introduced a number of alternative engines and style changes, including additional legroom for the rear passengers.

The MINI appeals to a wide range of car buyers, most of which are attracted by its charismatic style, economy and performance. It is a great city car with good manoeuvrability and it is extremely easy to park. It is also a good performer on urban roads and motorways.

And if you are looking for something a little different, then you might care to consider the wonderful MINI Clubman. This was launched in 2008 and is an estate version of the car. It is a little longer than the standard MINI, with additional space for luggage and passengers. It is available in a number of different versions from the very economical 1.4 litre right up to the 175 bhp turbocharged, which is a real joy to drive.

There are many used MINIs available in the UK from specialist and independent dealers, along with private sellers. Wherever you live in the UK, Motors.co.uk will be able to find a great MINI deal near to you.
