Renault Captur

The Renault Captur was introduced in 2013. Renault claimed it was its first venture into the small SUV market but many people believe that the Koleos fulfilled this role too.

Nevertheless, the Captur demonstrates enough innovative thinking, alongside its striking looks, to make it quite an exciting departure for the French manufacturer.

You couldn't tell to look at it but it's based on the Renault Clio and is just as easy to drive as that ever-popular car. It is powered by three different engines. There are 0.9L and 1.2L petrol versions and a 1.5L diesel version. As leaders in the field of diesel engines, it's the latter that is the most logical, not to mention the most economical, choice.

The Renault Captur is a very comfortable car to drive and ride in with suspension that is firm without being hard and steering that's positive and precise.

Clever rear sliding seats also create great versatility for carrying a combination of passengers and cargo. Equipment levels are excellent across all four variants in the range. For example, all have both Bluetooth and MP3 player docks as well as all the other features you'd expect.

So if you're looking for a relatively small family car that boasts great features, you'll find a great choice of Capturs with Motors.co.uk.
