Volkswagen Touran SE

The Volkswagen Touran SE is positioned towards the mid to top end of specifications and is a hugely popular choice thanks to the overall value for money. What you get is a seriously spacious seven seat people carrier that performs incredibly well for families in particular. It’s nothing but positive, safe, reliable and secure, and inspires a lot of confidence every time you get in. With a good kit list, solid driving experience and friendly attitude, there’s clearly a lot to like about it. In terms of engines, this model is equipped with 1.4 to 2.0 litre petrols, as well as 1.9 to 2.0 litre diesels, so running costs aren’t exactly high.A good looking car, the Volkswagen Touran SE is absolutely approachable from the outside, with a front end that seems to smile and very positive profile. Head inside and you’ll find the cabin to be hugely spacious, comfortable, light and breezy, solidly assembled and decently practical due to the 695 litre boot. On the gear list, you’ll note alloy wheels, air conditioning, roof rails, driver assists, electric windows, CD stereo, media connectivity, cloth seats, parking sensors, service indicator, remote locking, body coloured bumpers, folding rear seats, and considerably more. It’s confident but composed to drive, and the steering is nicely responsive for a larger car. You’ll pay £6,000 used.
