Hondas have a proud reputation as tough and reliable cars and make a very sensible second hand buy. The make regularly claims top placings in customer satisfaction surveys and draws a loyal band of owners who swear by them.

The engines are particularly long-lived, regularly spinning to mileages topping 100,000 without needing more than routine work. Mind you, one reason for their longevity is that Honda insisted on frequent and expensive servicing for its older models.
