Off-road driving in the Sportage is great fun. At speeds of up to 25 mph you can manually lock in a 50:50 torque balance, there is a special hill descent system that works really well in muddy and rough terrain and maintains the car’s speed at a constant 5 mph and there is a hill start assist that prevents rolling backwards even on the steepest of muddy hills.
