Newtownabbey
Positioned on the east coast of Northern Ireland, Newtownabbey is town, sometimes considered a suburb, to the north of Belfast. It has a population of 63,000 which makes the fourth largest urban area in the country.
The town is twinned with Rybnik in Poland and Dorsten in Germany, and also has a ‘sister city’ in the form of Gilbert in the state of Arizona, USA.
