FINISHED IN PERIOD BLUE COMPLIMENTED WITH CONTRASTING PERIOD INTERIOR. A FULL NUT AND BOLT RESTORATION HAS BEEN CARRIED OUT. ONE OF THE BEST EXAMPLES ON THE MARKET TODAY. CURRENT MOT TILL 20 11 2015 (NO ADVISORIES) She was registered with its Lancashire registration number of STB 587C which it retains to this day. The vendor, a vintage car restoration specialist by trade, purchased the car as a project in remarkably solid and sound condition. A completely new suspension system was built onto the sub-frames front and rear which have been shot-blasted and powder coated, 'every bush, bearing and seal' has been replaced. The brakes are all new including wheel cylinders and master cylinder. The engine was stripped and found to be in very good condition. A new clutch was fitted along with a new radiator and a complete new wiring loom – the list goes on, reverse-rim Cooper S wheels have had new tyres, the correct (non-sidelight) sealed - beam originals and a spare wheel added for its MOT.

FINISHED IN MAROON OVER BLACK . This 1939 model now a rare car the prior keeper has undertaken a number of jobs, including a major brake overhaul which included new brake cylinders, brake shoes, a new master cylinder as well as recently fitting a fresh 6-volt battery. There are photographs on file of an older bodywork refurbishment and it has clearly had a new headlining in the recent past. The interior is pleasantly original, the correct Bakelite fittings remaining in good order. In need of a set of carpets to complete the job, its sunroof and opening windscreen function well and it ran very sweetly when manoeuvring for the photographs. Fun to own and capable of buzzing along at modern A and B road speeds, this charming late model Series E looks excellent value .
