East Kilbride
East Kilbride is a large town in the South Lanarkshire region of Scotland. Its population numbers around 74,000, and it was designated a New Town in 1947. A commuter area for nearby Glasgow, the town is twinned with Ballerup in Denmark and Omagh in Northern Ireland.
