Nissan GT-R
The Nissan GT-R is an absolutely immense sports car that delivers astronomical levels of performance, ferocious designs and face warping handling in one relatively easy to use package. It’s a fire breather that’ll eat up most other things out on the road, and can send you into a state of ecstasy on the track. A truly staggering motor, it’s actually pretty good value too.
Part of a long line of heroic performance autos to come from the Japanese manufacturer, the GT-R can trace its bloodline back to the monstrous Skylines from days gone by. While it no longer carries the famous name, it’s still very much a continuation of greatness in spirit. Featuring an all wheel drive system, a gargantuan 3.8 litre V6 twin turbo engine and a top speed of 193 mph, it’s just epic. Get the Spec V or Nismo tuned editions and you’ll just cry at how good they are.
Taking one look at the Nissan, it’s easy to see why it has won countless motoring awards around the world. It’s absolutely brilliant, in an aggressive ‘I want to kill you’ kind of way. The muscular front end, low profile and rear spoiler combine to create something that looks deadly. With a comfortable interior, it’s actually quite easy to get on with. There’s a huge amount of digital kit however, that’d suit the Playstation generation down the ground. Sports seats (and some in the back), phenomenal trims and a decent boot makes it practical, although prepare for screaming passengers.
There are really no other cars that perform like the GTR. It’s just one of a kind and has the capability to destroy anyone behind the wheel when pushed hard- the sheer G forces have been known to upset dodgy backs and necks. A perfectly balanced chassis, the sharpest of steering and more grip than Isaac Newton could ever have predicted means it’s stable even at top speed. Thunderously fast, 0-60mph can be achieved in 3.5 seconds, which is supercar quick!
While it’s out of reach for most normal people to buy brand new, getting a pre owned one can see prices come tumbling down. Indeed you’ll find a wonderful selection of used cars for sale at Motors.co.uk, and high performance beasts like a second hand Nissan GT-R are all there. Paying less for an auto like this is a real coup, but don’t do it if you can’t afford masses of fuel.
The simple point is that the Nissan GTR is a once in a lifetime kind of car. It’s amazing in every way, from design to performance and handling.
