Peugeot 206 Look
One of the vast array of trim levels on this great little family size hatchback, the Peugeot 206 Look is friendly, very usable, well kitted out and great to drive. What it represents is excellent value for money as you actually get a good amount of bang for your buck. Safe and reliable, it’s a great offering from the French automaker that’s available in 3 or 5 door models. Under the bonnet you’ll find engines ranging from 1.1 to 1.6 litre petrols, and 1.4 to 2.0 litre diesels, so there’s some zip but not a huge fuel bill.
The Peugeot 206 Look does, well, look good. It’s personable but stylish, and there are some nice angles at the front especially. Climb inside and there’s an airy feeling to the cabin, which is solid, comfortable and big enough for children to sit in the back; there’s also a 237 litre boot. Generously geared up, you’ll note steel wheels, cloth seats, a good audio system, air conditioning, several driver aids, electric windows and mirrors, front and side airbags, as well as a sunroof. It’s just a good all rounder, and performs very well indeed out on the road. Composed and confident in the corners, it’s a steal for £3,000 used.
