The Peugeot 207 SE shows the dominance of the French automaker when it comes to family friendly small cars, as everything about it is just fantastic. Stylish, well built, great to drive, safe, reliable and decently equipped, there’s not much it can’t do and appeals to a huge range of drivers as a result. From families to people on a budget and city dwellers, the affordable nature is a big draw for sure. Available as a 5 door, this punchy hatchback is powered by 1.4 and 1.6 litre petrol engines, as well as 1.6 litre diesels. It’s a big hit and you should take a look.
While it may be a few years old, the Peugeot 207 SE certainly hasn’t lost any of its appeal. The exterior designs are still as bonkers as ever, and the interior is comfy, welcoming and nicely light and bright. It is a small car, so rear legroom is best suited for children, but you do get a 270 litre boot. The solid kit list includes a huge sunroof, air con, alloy wheels, good sound system, material seats, some driver aids, front fog lights and remote locking; value for money is certainly is. Driving wise though, the 207 performs well on all types of roads and has some vigour about it, as well as agility and punch. You’ll pay £4,000 used.
