The Renault Clio Extreme is a superb sporty little hatchback that comes in 3 or 5 door models and sits in the middle of available trim levels. It’s great to look at, fun to drive, excellent value for money, and nicely practical too. The French automaker has long been the dominant force in small car motoring and the Clio is the perfect example why. Friendly, spacious, safe, reliable and nothing but a pleasure to own, families will enjoy it immensely, but so will commuters and people who just want something small and attractively formed. Engines are 1.2 litre petrols and 1.5 litre diesels. There’s a lot to like about the Renault Clio Extreme, especially in exterior design which features some lovely curves and angles. The interior is welcoming, nicely put together and comfortable; there are some strong looking materials and a great trim finish, plus a 288 litre boot that enhances usability in a big way. Crammed full of gear and gadgets, you’ll find all the usual things like alloys and air con, cloth seats, electric windows, CD stereo with media connectivity and remote central locking.
