The Renault Clio Renaultsport is a hot hatchback that really does push the boundaries in both performance and style. It’s gorgeous to look at and definitely has a racing mindset, but is actually quite usable on a daily basis. Fast and lively, the driving experience is just superb, and you really do feel that dose of adrenaline. Safety and reliability scores are good too, so you can always have confidence. And if that’s not enough, the value for money is excellent, so you can get a lot of bang for your buck, especially since engines are 2.0 litre petrols and have loads of punch.
Definitely a sporty and performance oriented car, the Renault Clio Renaultsport showcases everything that’s good about the French manufacturer and offers a whole new meaning to ‘va va voom’. This is fast, feisty, great to look at and decently equipped with the likes of alloy wheels, a CD stereo, electric windows, heated mirrors, airbags, driver aids, metallic paint, sports seats and an alarm. It’s a drivers car through and through, but 252 litres of boot space keeps it nicely practical. Punchy, self confident, grippy, lively and well balanced are just some of the words you could use to describe it, but down right fantastic sums it up best. Pay £9,000 used.
