The Renault Megane Dynamique is a mid level trim on the renowned and revered hatchback that looks superb, drives exceptionally, has a good level of equipment and no shortage of confidence. It’s just a genuinely great car that appeals to a multitude of motorists and performs well in all instances. Reliable, safe and actually quite versatile, there’s a lot to like about it. Check under the bonnet and you’ll find some great engines that span 1.4 to 1.6 litre petrols and 1.5 to 1.9 litre diesels. Punchy then, but not expensive to run, it’s definitely got a lot to it!
Fantastically designed both inside and out, the Renault Megane Dynamique is modern, stylish, shapely and just very attractive in all regards. A decently spacious and very comfortable cabin makes you want to get in, and there’s a lot of light thanks to the big windows. Throw in 372 litres of boot space and overall practicality is right up there too. This version has a good amount of kit like 16 inch alloys, CD stereo with media connections, automatic wipers, special headlights, sat nav, cruise control, electric windows, heated seats, traction control and much more. The on road driving experience is sublime, and to say this car is well balanced and grippy would be an understatement; it’s just fun, and very easy to handle, but very rewarding. Pay £7,000 used.
