Used Subaru Outback

For those people who want a rough and ready car that can hold its own in the wild and isn’t an SUV, the Subaru Outback is the perfect option. Basically it’s a beefier version of the Legacy with a higher ground clearance and a lot more attitude. It’s very appealing and isn’t afraid to get its feet wet.

The Outback was released in 1995 and came about because the company needed something to compete with the growing SUV market but didn’t want to design a whole new car from scratch so just altered the Legacy a bit. The similarities are obvious to see, but the Outback is more aggressive in design and nature.

Mainly available in estate format, inside space has been a hallmark of the car and newer versions in particular are massive, especially with all the rear seats put down. Combine this with a comfortable, clear and concise interior design and the plus points soon begin to mount up. You also get a shed load of kit as standard which blows regular, more expensive SUVs out of the water.

In terms of driving experience, the Subaru is exactly how you’d imagine it to be- impressively comfortable and heavy yet responsive in the corners. The 4x4 system provides mountains of grip, and it’s certainly more precise than a lot of bigger cars on the market. Add in the Japanese brand’s trademark reliability, and confidence is increased even further.

The range of second hand cars for sale at Motors.co.uk is wide ranging and very diverse. It’s very easy to get hold of a bargain used Subaru Outback because huge price discounts mean a great deal is never far away. Why pay a monstrous amount for a beastly car like the Outback when there are so many cheaper alternatives available? It’s an obvious choice and the perfect way to get total value for money.

With the Subaru Outback then, you get a practical car that’s been made bigger and better in every way. It’s the ideal blend of estate and SUV motoring and is certainly rugged, but also a pleasure to drive and makes daily life much easier. Large cars are often thought of as ‘all brawn and no brains’ or lacking in the composure department, but it’s really not the case here. The Outback is perfectly poised and hugely popular.
