Toyota Camry
The Toyota Camry is a typical offering from the world’s largest car maker. It’s cheap, reliable, well equipped and actually quite good to drive- all hallmarks of the Japanese brand that we have come to know and love over the years. With good levels of practicality and a decent sized boot, the Camry is as happy to take the kids to school and do the weekly shop as it is to transport high flying execs.
Underneath that relatively plain exterior is an excellently engineered car that drives well and isn’t short on power. With a plethora of engines to choose from, some standout ones include the 2.2 and V6 3.0 litre petrols. Delivering a decent amount of grunt, they aren’t exactly the fastest or most powerful around, but get you there without becoming flustered. The handling is competent and overall you can feel a decent balance.
Toyotas aren’t really the most expensive cars around to buy straight off the shelf, but getting a second hand one can mean you save a shed load of money. A used Toyota Camry is a solid option that won’t break the bank by any means.
Clearly then, what you get with the Toyota Camry is a family/executive car that’s incredible value for money. While it might not be at the pinnacle of design or performance like some competitors, it’s certainly not far behind in terms of kit or comfort. You really do get a lot for very little, and that’s one of the best reasons to consider this well built and reliable car.
