The Vauxhall Insignia SRI is a top of the range model of this hugely popular motor that’s nicely sporty, great to drive, loaded with equipment and actually great value for money. It features wonderful designs both outside and in, positive safety and reliability scores and good all round versatility. A popular choice with executives and even families who want something quite premium but not overly pricey, engines range from 1.4 to 2.0 litre petrols, as well as 2.0 litre diesels. There’s clearly some punch, but running costs remain quite low.
Absolutely a good looking car, the Vauxhall Insignia SRI has some sporty bodywork upgrades that really do make it look impressive, and the cabin is spacious, well put together, definitely performance oriented in trim, but comfortable nonetheless. In terms of kit, you’ll note alloy wheels, climate control, cloth sports seats, electric windows, sports suspension, airbags, a quality sound system, media connectivity, driver assists, and a whole lot more. Always impressive to drive, the SRI handles very well in the corners and isn’t short on straight line pace either. You’ll get one for £10,000 used.
