Vauxhall Vectra Design
The Vauxhall Vectra Design is a mid range model on this popular motor that features a good amount of kit, solid driving experience, decent designs and fantastic all round value for money. It’s a good performer that just does exactly what it says on the box and never seems to shy away from getting out on all types of roads. Nicely practical and versatile, it’s great for family or executive use and just performs without issue. Engine options range from 1.8 to 2.2 litre petrol engines, as well as 1.9 litre diesels, so there’s a decent amount of punch, but fuel economy is strong too.
On the design side of things, the Vauxhall Vectra Design is a good looking motor that’s nicely modern and quite sleek from the outside, while the cabin is roomy, bright and well put together. There’s space in the rear for adults and children, and boot space measures in at 500 litres. In terms of equipment, you’ll note the likes of alloy wheels, air conditioning, cloth seats, airbags, electric windows, alarm, CD stereo with media connections, cruise control, sat nav, spare wheel and some driver assists. Easy to handle out on the road, it’s composed and quite refined, and motorway miles are eaten up without issue. You’ll pay £7,000 used.
