Bentley Continental Flying Spur

The Continental GT was launched in 2003, as a new style of Bentley. It was smaller, more affordable and sportier than its predecessor but retained the prestige and sophistication of the brand. The GT was a luxury two-door fastback or convertible.

The Flying Spur was introduced in 2005 - this is a four-door version of the Continental and is still being built.

The Flying Spur is a rival for Rolls Royce, as it is operates as both a large four-seater saloon and a sporty grand tourer. It offers an ultra high quality interior with the finest materials and design details. Note, for example, the remote controlled entertainment system for rear-seat passengers built into the headrests of the front seats.

The engine is a sophisticated and refined 6L twin-turbo W12. The car can sprint to 60mph in just 5.2 seconds and has a top speed of 194mph.

Upgrades appeared in 2007, including a sat-nav system and wireless telecommunications system. The Mulliner trim level gave an even great level of luxury in the cabin.

In 2009 more changes were made. These included a retuned exhaust and more sound-proofing. The Flying Spur Speed model was given a performance hike. The new version can reach a fantastic 200mph.
