Kia Soul Diesel

If you're in the market for a fun, young and distinctive small car, the Kia Soul diesel could well be the perfect choice. What's more, it comes in an exceptionally wide range of trims and variants so it offers great options from the basic to the really quite luxurious.

The diesel version is powered by 1.6L version which offers 126bhp and is available with a six-speed gearbox, in either manual or automatic.

For its overall size, the car has a long wheelbase and it's also comparatively wide which gives it great stability. Later models also have three different power steering options making parking especially easy even in the tightest of spaces. Another great feature of the car is its load-carrying capacity which expands to up to 1367 litres of room.

With a comprehensive range of trim levels, at the most basic you can expect air conditioning and a CD stereo, while at the highest there are features like keyless entry, heated leather seats and stop/start technology. Plus, as with most Kias, it comes with a seven-year warranty from new, giving an indication of the faith the company has in its build quality.
