Volkswagen Sharan SE

What you get with the Volkswagen Sharan SE is a positive, quite sporty and absolutely practical seven seat people carrier that really does stand out from the crowd because it does exactly what it says on the box and really delivers every time. Just totally safe, reliable and secure, it’s the perfect choice for families who want something spacious and well designed. With a good kit list and plenty of practical features, this mid range model is a hugely popular option. Powered by 1.4 litre petrol engines, as well as 2.0 litre diesels, fuel economy figures are rather good too.In terms of design, the Volkswagen Sharan SE is impressive both inside and out. It’s got some sporty characteristics to it and the front end is definitely friendly. The cabin is spacious, well put together, robust and nicely practical with an array of storage areas. 256 litres makes up the boot, but this expands with the seats forward; it’s still enough to make everyday tasks very easy. On the gear and gadget front, you’ll find alloy wheels, climate control, CD stereo, media connections, electric windows, driver assists, roof rails, spare wheel, cloth seats, electric mirrors, lumbar support, service indicator, remote locking and more. Easy to control and always keen to be driven, the SE is a good on road performer. You’ll pay £9,000 used.
