Used Citroen C1
The Citroen's C1 is a small car with a close similarity to the Peugeot 107 and Toyota Aygo in specification but with a somewhat different body. The car is available as a three or five door hatchback and is quite roomy inside given its small size. This is an excellent car for getting around town and a used Citroen's C1 is an ideal choice for the younger driver as a starter car.
The car is available in two amusingly named trims which are called the Vibe, which is the entry level, and the Rhythm, which is more up-market. There are also some special edition versions too but even in its highest specification, a used C1 is an inexpensive car.
There are two engine choices; a 1.0 litre petrol which has an economy of 63 mpg and a 55 bhp 1.4 litre turbocharged diesel, though the latter is restricted to five door models. Both come with a five speed manual gear box.

Not all Citroen C1 cars are docile. With the C1 Sports Package you can get twin tone front seats, lowered and slightly stiffened suspension and a retuned engine which adds considerably to its all-round performance. It does not make it into a racer, but it adds a considerable amount of punch.
