Used Citroen C1
The Citroen's C1 is a small car with a close similarity to the Peugeot 107 and Toyota Aygo in specification but with a somewhat different body. The car is available as a three or five door hatchback and is quite roomy inside given its small size. The car is available in two amusingly named trims which are called the Vibe, which is the entry level, and the Rhythm, which is more up-market. There are also some special edition versions too but even in its highest specification, a used C1 is an inexpensive car.
There are two engine choices; a 1.0 litre petrol which has an economy of 63 mpg and a 55 bhp 1.4 litre turbocharged diesel, though the latter is restricted to five door models. Both come with a five speed manual gear box.

Not all Citroen C1 cars are docile. With the C1 Sports Package you can get twin tone front seats, lowered and slightly stiffened suspension and a retuned engine which adds considerably to its all-round performance. It does not make it into a racer, but it adds a considerable amount of punch.
