Used Lamborghini Aventador information
Used Lamborghini Aventador FAQ's
How does the 4-wheel steering system work?
It is a system that is responsible for the Aventador's leap forwards. At low speeds, it turns the rear wheels in opposite directions to a maximum of 3.0 degrees and turns them in the same direction at high speed to a maximum of 1.5 degrees. Except for a sharper front-end bite felt only by the driver, the transition is seamless, with the Aventador requiring less steering input at high speed and lovely throttle control in mid-corner.
How much technology is on the Lamborghini Aventador?
The Aventador's technology is old-fashioned, beginning with the lack of power-boosting turbochargers or hybrids. The transmission is through a lightweight robotised manual gearbox with hydraulics. Conspicuously missing on the Aventador are driver assistance systems such as fatigue detection and automatic braking system, ABS.
What roads are suitable for Lamborghini Aventador?
The Lamborghini Aventador comes with a manual hydraulic nose lift to help you climb bumps, a tedious exercise when driving on city roads. However, due to its massive girth, limited rear visibility and floor-touching belly, the Aventador is only suitable for open roads. Additionally, it is only on the open road that you can enjoy its stentorian bellow without being a public nuisance.
How safe is Lamborghini Aventador?
Lamborghini Euro NCAP ratings are not available, a fate it shares with other supercar manufacturers, Ferrari and McLaren. However, it has a strong and stiff carbon fibre cell and 6 airbags that keep the occupant safe in an accident. The stability control system, carbon-ceramic brakes and all-wheel-drive features are other standard safety measures that help keep the Aventador safe.
Is Lamborghini Aventador a comfortable ride?
Driving a supercar is exhilarating but does not always imply comfort, and the Aventador is a perfect example. First, the bucket seats are very thinly padded, and the car does not have lumbar support, making long rides uncomfortable.
Which alternatives match the Aventador's performance?
No single model directly rivals the Italian supercar, but it faces competitions at different levels from various brands. The closest rival might be , but it is rear-wheel drive only and costs almost 3 times more. qualifies as an alternative for those who prefer a supercar with the V12 engine in front. The V8-powered is significantly cheaper than the Aventador S but is only a match for the , Lamborghini's entry-level supercar.
