Porsche offers the 911 in several different variants, with either a manual or automatic gearbox and rear- or all-wheel drive.
Petrol- Carrera models include a 3.0-litre turbo flat-six that pumps out 379bhp, for a 0-62mph time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 182mph.
- Carrera S produces 443bhp, while the GTS is tuned for 473bhp.
- Turbo and Turbo S models produce 571bhp and 640bhp respectively.
- GT3 offers 503bhp, while the GT3 RS has 517bhp for a 0-62mph time of 3.2 seconds.
Practicality
The Porsche 911 is surprisingly practical as a daily driver, with back seats that are able to accommodate young children. Its main purpose is still driving pleasure, however, and it's extremely enjoyable to take out on weekends and for longer cruises.
