About the Nissan Juke
Nissan launched the Juke in 2010 with instant success. It became the favourite choice for small SUV lovers, thanks to its thrilling driving experience and frugality. Its features got better over the years, with the 2017 model winning Fleet News Awards for driver appeal and low running costs. Nissan launched its second generation in 2019. The current Juke models in the UK are available in four specification levels: Visia, Acenta, Bose Personal Edition, and Tekna.
What can you expect to find in a Nissan Juke?
The engine configurations and transmissions vary depending on the model year, and the trim level. You can opt for 1-litre or 1.6-litre petrol engines, or the 1.5-litre diesel engine. The gearbox can be 5-speed, 6-speed, or 7-speed manual transmission. Older models come with some impressive features in the entry-level Visia trim as standard:
- Alloy wheels
- Tyre pressure sensors
- Front and rear electric windows
- Passenger and driver airbag
- Front side airbags
- Curtain airbags
The latest models of the Nissan Juke come with the following standard features:
- 16-inch alloy wheels
- LED daytime running lights
- 60/40 split rear seats
- Electric-control windows
- Manual air conditioning
The Acenta is the most popular trim amongst Juke drivers. This is because the extra cost is not much, but the features are a must-have for a contemporary driving experience. They include, Bluetooth connection, LED fog lights, multi-function steering wheel, rear privacy glass, cruise control, and climate control systems.
If you need to pimp your ride, then the Bose Personal Edition is the one for you since it gives you access to Nissan Design Studio. The top trim, Tekna, comes with Nissan Safety Shield, heated front seats, and leather upholstery, giving your car an upscale sporty look and feel.
