One of the many very notable facts about this car is that it is the first ever Porsche to have a diesel engine and, not surprisingly, it's a match that's been very carefully thought through and executed.
It first hit the roads in 2009 powered by a choice of two diesels. The standard 3L V6 delivers very impressive economy figures of 39.2mpg for a car of this size and weight, while the more sporty option is a 4.2L V8 biturbo version.
