There have been many powertrain options with the DS 3, with the company providing diesel, petrol and electric configurations. While these pair to either a manual or an automatic transmission, all models include front-wheel drive.

Electric

DS 3 E-TENSE configuration produces 154bhp and returns an electric range of up to 251 miles per charge.
Up to 80% of its battery can be recharged with a fast charger in 30 minutes.

Petrol

PureTech 100 produces 99bhp for a 0-62mph time of 10.9 seconds, while the PureTech 130 increases the output to 129bhp for a 0-62mph time of 9.2 seconds.
Hybrid e-DCS6 creates a combined 134bhp with a fuel economy rating of around 65mpg, resulting in CO2 emissions of 112g/km.
Older models include a 1.2-litre engine that creates 80bhp for a fuel consumption rating of 61.4mpg and CO2 emissions of 107g/km.

Diesel

Previously available 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine outputs either 98bhp or 118bhp.
Fuel economy ratings vary between 83.1mpg and 78.5mpg, depending on the configuration.
