Engines and transmissions

Land Rover has offered a wide range of engines, including petrol, diesel and hybrids. These have been paired to an automatic or a manual transmission with standard four-wheel drive.

Petrol

P400e is a PHEV that creates a combined 398bhp for a 0-60mph time of 5.4 seconds, and it can travel up to 27 miles on electric only.
P525 uses a V8 engine to generate 517bhp and return the fastest 0-60mph time of 5.1 seconds, but it has the lowest efficiency rating of 19.7mpg.
Earlier P300 produced 295bhp, with a 0-60mph time of 7.2 seconds and a fuel economy rating of up to 24mpg.
Non-hybrid P400 generated 394bhp and achieved 24.9mpg for fuel economy.

Diesel

D250 outputs 245bhp, which makes a 0-60mph time of 7.9 seconds with a combined efficiency of 33.1mpg.
D300 produces 295bhp for a 0-60mph time of 6.6 seconds and an efficiency rating of up to 33.2mpg.
Earlier D200 model generated 197bhp for a 10-second 0-60mph time and a fuel economy rating of around 32mpg.
D240 model produced 236bhp and an 8.8-second 0-60mph time, with a fuel economy rating of 31.6mpg.

With the longer wheelbase, the Defender 110 is a practical family SUV offering plenty of room for children and adults to fit comfortably.

Interior space

Available 12-way adjustable driver's seat can help create the perfect positioning.
Second row is accommodating to adults and children, while the available third row is best suited for smaller adults or children.
ISOFIX points for installing child seats are found on the outer seats in the second row.

Boot space

786 litres of boot space in the five-seater or 743 litres in the seven-seater (with the back seat folded down).
160 litres available behind the third row of seats, just enough to hold some shopping bags.
Boot may be equipped with rubberised plastic to protect the seats, a 12V socket, and a switch to lower the available air suspension for easier loading.
