Not long after its initial launch, Kia was ready to redesign the Ceed with a new generation. Sharing a mechanical platform with the Hyundai i30, the Ceed was both affordable and attractive. It had a "tiger-nose" front-end design with a pinched grille on both sides, topped with swept-back headlights.
