Interior spaceThe Nissan LEAF arrived in 2010 as an affordable electric car option. The LEAF is built in the UK and it quickly became the world's best-selling EV. The second-generation LEAF arrived sharing the same platform as before, but with major upgrades. The styling was updated, with its V-shaped grille found on other models. The all-electric compact hatchback was released to offer an affordable option to drivers who wanted a fully electric car. Its futuristic look may have appeared strange at first, but the design became popular with EV enthusiasts. Its headlights were installed closely together to protect them from damage while driving in the city. Instead of a radiator in the front, the charging point was found behind the badging.
Inside the cabin, dials were replaced with a TFT display, adding a modern touch for the time. There was also a large touchscreen display found on the centre stack to control the critical features of the vehicle.

The only configurations available with the LEAF are electric, though they come with different outputs. Most customers prefer the cheaper 147bhp electric motor with the 39kWh battery pack to create a driving range of up to 168 miles.
