Launched in 2006 , the Audi R8 is a high-performance luxury supercar that shares its engines and mechanics with the Lamborghini Huracan. Originally released as a 4.2-litre V8 coupe, the range has had a few facelifts over the years. The most recent 5.2-litre V10 petrol engine produces 562bhp and 405lb-ft of torque and astoundingly reaches 62mph in 2.72 seconds . The interior is more spacious than one might imagine, with ample head and legroom for two adults and tech features for a sublime driving experience.

Beautifully built and exceptionally high quality, the Audi R8 is one of the most luxurious cars on the market and owners generally report good reliability. That said, the German manufacturer's reputation isn't perfect, with some customer satisfaction surveys reporting problems and poor finishes with certain designs. The Audi R8 is constantly getting refreshed with top trims featuring top speeds of at least 200mph. The V10 Performance coupe is the fastest trim, reaching a maximum speed of 205mph.
