If you're in the market for a compact crossover that's fun to drive, then a used Volkswagen T-Roc is a great choice. The VW T-Roc navigates city streets and off-road terrains easily with its 4MOTION all-wheel drive and turbocharged powertrains. It has a stylish design and offers drivers a high-tech safety kit and user-friendly Digital Cockpit, ensuring comfort and peace of mind on the road.
Volkswagen offers both petrol and diesel engines, with a choice of a six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.
PetrolVW has done a great job of making the T-Roc both practical and fun to drive. Its smaller design may seem cramped when looking at it from the outside, but it's the perfect size for getting in and out of tight spaces without sacrificing interior space.
Interior spaceIntroduced in 2017, the Volkswagen T-Roc is still in its first generation. It follows in the footsteps of the VW Touareg and Tiguan, with a smaller footprint. The 4.2-metre-long crossover is stylish and fun, designed with younger buyers in mind. It has been built on the MQB platform and offers a higher ground clearance than the car lineup.
In 2021, VW offered refreshed the interior and exterior design, bringing subtle upgrades to the mix. An R-Line package was added and restyled lighting appeared. Inside the cabin, the T-Roc remains minimalistic without sacrificing any high-tech features.

The 1.6 TDI diesel engine has been used in a variety of VW vehicles, and provide a very good balance between acceleration and fuel economy. They are a solid option in the T-Roc and other models, offering plenty of diesel torque and a refined drive.
The base trim is the Life, offering a good balance of value and features. From there, VW offers the Match, Style, R-Line and R trims. At the top of the lineup, the T-Roc R has the most potent powertrain and high-end features, but also a higher starting price.
Volkswagen uses the designation '4Motion' to refer to all all-wheel drive. It's available on the T-Roc for added capability on slippery terrain, but isn't necessary for all driving situations.
With excellent safety ratings and plenty of standard equipment, the T-Roc would make a good family car, especially for urban travel. The back seats are spacious, and there's enough room in the boot for some luggage.
