If you’re in the market for a car that’s electric-powered, sporty and luxurious, then a used Porsche Taycan is a great choice. It's just as fast as you would expect a Porsche to be, and it has a stylish appearance and a comfortable interior. Numerous premium features are already included in the Taycan models without any upgrades. However, customers – especially audiophiles – should look out for either the Bose or Burmester 3D upgraded sound systems.
The Taycan is a great family vehicle. The outer rear seats are spacious and supportive, while the boot provides enough room to hold some luggage, and the long driving range is more than suitable for everyday travel.
A hybrid model of the Taycan wasn't offered before it was released as an EV. Porsche only built the Taycan with an electric configuration, even though the company had been known for its solid hybrid options.
With electric cars, every model relies on an automatic gearbox to provide instantaneous torque to the wheels, including the Taycan. Because there's instant access to 100% of peak torque and no shifting involved, the car accelerates much faster than a conventional petrol- or diesel-powered car.
Yes, the majority of Porsche Taycan models have standard four-wheel drive, including the Taycan. The only one that comes with a rear-wheel drive configuration is the base Taycan, which are not as popular.
