If you're in the market for a car that's comfortable, practical and stylish, then a used Citroen C3 Aircross is a great choice. The SUV's unique styling helps it to stand out from the competition, but it's also very comfortable and easy to drive. C3 Aircross models come in many configurations, including with a petrol or diesel engine, a manual or an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
PetrolWhile the Citroen C3 Aircross doesn't offer as much interior space as the larger C5 Aircross, it's still a practical option for small families.
Interior spaceWhile Citroen has offered both petrol and diesel engines, most buyers have opted for one of the petrol options. These have a lower cost to buy and still offer decent fuel efficiency.
The newest lineup comes in three models – You, Plus and Max – but the C3 Aircross was previously available as C-Series, Shine, Shine Plus, Flair and Feel. Of these, the Flair was the most popular and includes built-in navigation, 17-inch alloys, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, rear parking sensors and keyless entry.
Customers should look out for an available Sight & Sound Pack, which adds a colour head-up display and a 3.5-inch digital screen with the traditional analogue dials. It also comes with an upgraded sound system that makes listening to music more enjoyable.
The C3 Aircross is a good option for families. Some models have a sliding rear seat that increases the amount of legroom in the back row or provides more boot space, depending on which way it is moved.
Despite Citroen releasing a hybrid variant of the C5 Aircross, the smaller model hasn't received it yet. For now, all that's available are petrol and diesel engines, with efficiency ratings of up to 70.6mpg.
The majority of C3 Aircross models available in the used market have a manual gearbox. However, there are plenty of options available with an automatic transmission.
