Hyundai released the Kona and planned to go head-to-head with the top competitors in the segment, such as the Peugeot 2008, Dacia Duster, SEAT Arona and Nissan Juke. Two light strips were placed on the upper-front part of the Kona and the headlights were mounted into the bumper.
