The BMW i8 came into the UK market in 2014 as a high-end version of the BMW i-series. It was among the very few sports cars with a hybrid engine during its launch, making it a definition of future cars. The i8 coupe was the only option available until 2018 when the BMW i8 Roadster, a convertible, came into the market. Regardless of the body style, you get a 357 bhp engine that accelerates from 0-62 mph in 4.4 seconds. You don't need to worry about about the specifications in a BMW i8 as there are no trim levels and it only comes with 1 engine option. However, if you opt for 2018 and later versions, you will have to consider the convertible option. The BMW i8 coupe comes with the following features as a standard:

In 2018, BMW introduced a collision and pedestrian warning system with a city braking function as an optional safety package for city drivers. To make up for the limited options, BMW offered exclusive versions of the i8, such as the Protonic Frozen Black and Protonic Frozen Yellow models. The main difference remains cosmetic.
