More Ford Galaxy Information
The Ford Galaxy is a large and popular people carrier that first hit our roads back in 1995. Since then, this acclaimed MPV has evolved through three generations and countless updates to become a sophisticated range of multi-purpose vehicles.
The Titanium trim level first appeared in the UK in 2008 as the ultimate package of options for the second generation Galaxy. It was similar to the luxurious Ghia trim level but added a modern high-tech element and in 2011, a Titanium X level was added.
The Galaxy remains a five-door, front-wheel drive, seven-seater, available with an array of powerful and fuel-efficient petrol and diesel engines - the most popular being the diesel 2.0 TDCi . As with most Ford models, the Galaxy is notably well equipped, including the fold-flat-system where the second and third row of seats can be folded completed flat into the floor of the vehicle, creating a van-like load bay. Other standard Galaxy features include Ford's acclaimed Quickclear heated windscreen system, a refrigerated glovebox and extra lighting for passengers disembarking.
The third generation arrived in 2015. Changes included the option of a four-wheel drive version and the new model is available in Zetec, Titanium and Titanium X trim levels.
