Used Honda Legend cars for sale

The executive saloon Legend is a side-step from Honda's usual smaller scale cars - and still a great choice of vehicle. Its design makes this car assertive and memorable enough to compete with Audi and the like. Pinpoint a used Legend in a nearby location through the MOTORS car finder.

Honda Legend generations

Honda is arguably known best for its fleet of smaller, more affordable cars, so the executive class Legend is a deviation from the norm. But it's actually a great option for those people looking for a large, fully loaded auto that's not short on style and can mix it with the big boys. it's a pleasure to drive and offers excellent value for money, so why not jump off the German bandwagon and check it out?

Introduced way back in 1985, the Legend nameplate certainly isn't new, but a wealth of generations have kept it somewhat in the running over the years as a large family friendly car. The bar has been raised with newer models however, and an all out assault has been mounted on the established brands in the executive class. It has all the hallmarks associated with the Japanese marque, but goes that extra step further.

In terms of design, it's certainly eye catching with some well defined, angular shapes and quite a sleek profile. Honda has clearly taken note of what's popular in the top end genre and used it to great effect. The interior is lavish, luxurious and lush, with an array of nice materials and an unquestionably high standard of finish. it's supremely comfortable, has space for 5 adults and is packed full of quality equipment that's on par with the Mercedes S-Class. While the boot isn't particularly generous, it can still fit shopping or golf clubs with no issue.

The Legend is excellent on the road and can more than hold its own against the most popular powerhouses. While it only has a V6 petrol engine, the handling is phenomenal thanks to a clever 4 wheel drive system and the steering is precise and sharp. Cornering isn't a problem then, in fact you'll relish each one as a challenge. Just as comfortable on the motorway, the Honda has all the characteristics of a true great.

Compared to the most famous executive cars, the Legend is excellent value for money, but with second hand cars for sale there's opportunity to get an even better deal. MOTORS lists thousands of different autos at heavily discounted prices, so finding a cheap used Honda Legend for much less of the cost shouldn't be a problem.

At the end of the day, the executive car market is highly competitive and dominated by the same old brands and models. The Honda Legend has managed to muscle its way in there and gain a large following. it's excellent to drive, sumptuous to sit in and delivers a lot of bang for your buck. Even though it's been around for a while, what modern versions have achieved in such a short space of time means its nameplate couldn't be more appropriate.
