About the Lexus IS
With its sharp lines, chrome extras and plush interiors, the Lexus IS certainly has that va-va-voom. Since its first launch in 1998, the luxury Japanese car has been a key player in its car genre, offering spacious cabin room, slick equipment and a fantastic drive. Formerly comprising two fuel types, the Lexus IS range now produces the self-charging hybrid IS 300h only, which comprises a four-cylinder 2.5-litre petrol engine and electric motor. This returns 97kg/km of CO2 and reaches 0-62mph in 8.3 seconds.
