The Lotus Evora is a strikingly stylish 2 door coupe sports car that features a 2+2 seating layout and all the characteristics you’d expect from a performance car with the famous badge. It’s fantastic to drive, roomy inside and actually very easy to live with. Those people who want something sporty, speedy and very sexy needn’t look at anything else!
Introduced in 2009, the Evora is actually the first new platform released from the famous British company since the original Elise in 1995. Armed with some big V6 engines, the power to weight ratio is just incredible as it’s only 1300kg. Perfect as a GT car, you can cruise country roads and motorways with ease and always stand out from the crowd. There’s even a higher performance model, the Evora S, which is altogether beastlier.
Yes the Lotus is an incredibly good looking car, although it does share some similarities with the Elise. Sharp and angular, it looks the part and doesn’t fail to draw stares or gasps. Some particularly nice features include the bonnet engine intakes, feline looking headlights and the defined lines that run the length of the bodywork. You get the impression it’s like an animal crouched and ready to attack. The cabin is stylish and functional, although not as exciting as previous models. It’s comfortable nonetheless, and any length of journey is a pleasure. With a good kit list on normal models, the Evora S does have a bit more to offer. The boot is big enough for golf clubs and is also cooled, which is quite a nice touch.
Honestly the Evora is just amazing when out on the road; really 5 star. You get all characteristics that Lotus cars are famous for- insane levels of grip, sharp steering and an awesome balance. It’s an easy to car to drive and you can push it very hard before it bites you, which is a lot of fun. With a 3.5 litre V6 engine that produces 345 horsepower, there’s certainly no lack of grunt, and it sounds awe inspiring.

Basically, the Evora is a performance car with quite a bit of space inside. Ideal for grand touring, it looks phenomenal, drives like a real racer and makes you feel totally alive.
