88bhp E-SKYACTIV G adds mild-hybrid technology to boost the efficiency to 60.1mpg and reduce CO2 emissions to 107g/km.
Earlier models had a 73 or 82bhp 1.3-litre with an efficiency rating of around 55mpg or a 101bhp 1.5-litre with a 49mpg rating.
1.5-litre self-charging hybrid configuration on the latest generation is capable of up to 74mpg on average.

Diesel

Earlier diesel models had a 103bhp 1.5-litre diesel engine that could achieve up to an 83mpg fuel economy rating.
