MINI offers three engine variations in newer models, each with its own trim level. While newer diesel variants have disappeared from the range, there are solid petrol engine options to choose from in second-generation Clubman models.
Petrol- Cooper contains a 134bhp 1.5-litre three-cylinder for maximum efficiency up to 47.1mpg.
- 2.0-litre four-cylinder added to the Cooper S, with a rating of 175bhp and up to 44.8mpg.
- John Cooper Works is the fastest, with up to 301bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine and up to 38.2mpg rating, depending the version.
- Previous diesel variants can be found on the used market and include a 2.0-litre Cooper with 147bhp.
- Cooper S hit 187bhp and a fuel economy of 62mpg.

MINI Clubman generations
Second Generation (2015 to 2024)
With the release of the second generation came an updated suspension system, new connectivity features and more premium materials. The extended roofline and steep rear slope help to give it a unique style. Circular headlights shine from the chrome surround and hexagonal grille for a perfectly accented appeal.
In 2019, MINI released a refresh with available adaptive LED headlights and a newly designed domed bonnet to give a more solid appearance. With the optional black roof and pillars, the Clubman has a sportier look than previous models. Personalisation options from new included a sport suspension that lowers ground clearance by 2 inches, as well as 19-inch alloy wheels that complement the whole design.

First Generation (2007 to 2014)
MINI released the Clubman as a more spacious version of its popular lineup in 2007. While it looked the same as the MINI Hatch upfront, it was longer. The four-door design was unique for a small hatchback and the interior was meant to feel premium.
In the cabin, the retro speedometer design sat at the centre of the dash, while a smaller tachometer was cleverly positioned in front of the driver's seat.
