The Ateca comes with a lot of different engine options, including petrol and diesel engines, a manual or an automatic transmission, and front- or four-wheel drive.

Petrol

1.0 TSI produces 113bhp, returning a rating of 47.0mpg with 137g/km of CO2 emissions.
1.5 TSI creates 147bhp with a combined consumption of up to 45.6mpg and CO2 emissions of 142g/km.
2.0 TSI has the lowest rating of 33.6mpg, but has 187bhp and is by far the quickest version of the Ateca.

Diesel

1.6-litre TDI delivers 113bhp with an efficiency rating of up to 62mpg, depending on the configuration.
2.0-litre offers either 147bhp or 197bhp, with an efficiency rating of up to 55mpg, depending on the variant.

Practicality

The Ateca is a comfortable and spacious SUV, with room to hold a family and their luggage or groceries.

Interior space

Height-adjustable front seats with lumbar support and movable steering wheel.
Three adults fit comfortably in the back seat with ample knee and headroom.
Centre backrest folds down into an armrest with a drink holder.

Different generations of used SEAT Ateca

Even though SEAT had started designing its first SUV five years earlier, the Ateca didn't arrive until 2016. As a replacement for the Altea MPV, SEAT attempted to change with the times. Sharing a platform with the Volkswagen Tiguan and using much of the same technology, the Ateca instantly earned positive reviews from drivers.
