audi a7

When Audi launched the A7 in 2010, it said its aim was to add a sporty model to the range to go up against other manufacturers’ models like the Mercedes CLS and BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe. With its stylish looks and great performance, it does just that.

The Quattro four-wheel drive system is fitted across the range, and there are a variety of petrol and diesel engines to choose from. In the original A7s, made between 2010 and 2013, the largest of their petrol engines were 3L. However, in post-2013 models, the engine size has been increased to a big 4L unit. Since 2012, there has also been an S7 version powered by the 4L unit and capable of an adrenalin-pumping 414bhp.

In terms of comfort, it would be difficult to improve on the A7. The seats are not only brilliantly supportive, they are also fully adjustable using electric motors. There’s also dual-zone air conditioning and the car’s width gives plenty of space between driver and passenger.

The buying cost and running costs of the Audi A7 mean that it won’t be the car for everyone. However, if you want to browse used A7’s, you’ll find plenty of choice from all round the UK at Motors.co.uk, where you can tailor each search to your budget and location.
