Crosby

Crosby is a coastal town located in Mersyside on the west cost of England. Traditionally a part of Lancashire however, it has a population of 52,000 and is situated just south of Southport as well as north of Bootle, and importantly, Liverpool.

Composed of several main areas including both Little and Great Crosby, Waterloo and Thornton, the town as a whole is actually in the metropolitan borough of Sefton. One of the most up market areas is Blundellsands, which is hugely popular with wealthier individuals who base themselves there and commute to the larger surrounding cities.

The town has sports clubs galore, particularly related to water sports, but one of the best things is definitely Crosby Beach. Pristine views, a marina and plenty of country make it quite a charming place. Interestingly, the beach is also home to a modern art sculpture called ‘Another Place’ by Anthony Gormley. The history of the area as a retreat certainly isn’t lost, and there’s a great deal of classic architecture on display.

Being on the coast, the town and wider region is perfect for driving. Once you get away from built up areas, it’s like a whole different place, and you can cruise around to your heart’s content. A bit further away are the Pennines and moors, Yorkshire Dales and even Snowdonia, so whether you’re looking for a day out or a driving holiday, Crosby is well located to begin with.

Covering the whole of the UK, Motors.co.uk is certainly one of the best places to search for used cars for sale at a very high standard. There are thousands available in the Merseyside area, so finding second hand autos in Crosby shouldn’t be a problem at all. Prices have been severely reduced across the board, so essentially there’s no better way to get more motor for your money. Take a look, you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
