Interior spaceThe Ford S-MAX was introduced in 2006 to fit between the compact C-MAX MPV and the larger Galaxy. Ford built the second-generation S-MAX on the Mondeo platform and gave it an updated front shape with a hexagonal grille, swept-back headlights and LED daytime running lamps.
